The Harry Chapin Food Bank is a private, non-profit human service organization that operates on a fiscal year that extends from July 1st to June 30th.

Our organization is audited on an annual basis. Our fiscal period ends on June 30th. We are accountable to the community, funding entities and to our Board of Directors. Our organization has received a change to an unqualified opinion that our financial statements and position conform with generally accepted accounting principles. Our organization prides itself on our ability to conduct ourselves as good stewards of community funds. We can multiply each donated $1 into $6 in food value. In addition, based on our most recent audit (ending June 30, 2013) 97% of all funding is directed towards the program expense and our mission in fighting hunger in Southwest Florida.
