The Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida is happy to announce that our Naples office is moving into a new center with larger office, warehouse and community space. The move will take place during the summer of 2017, and we will continue serving our partner agencies in Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties from our facility in Fort Myers.
We remain committed to the mission of leading our community, including Collier County, in the fight to end hunger. In the last year, we distributed 4.2 million pounds of food in Collier County, about 30 percent more than the prior year. We expect that growth to continue as we work to meet the needs of the 40,000 people in Collier County who are food insecure, which means they may not know where their next meal is coming from. Our new location will help us continue to expand our scope, presence, programs and impact in Collier County. Watch for updates!
