The 2026 Heritage Cares Drive Out Hunger Charity Golf Tournament will return Oct. 25-26 at The Club at Pelican Preserve in Fort Myers, with proceeds benefiting Harry Chapin Food Bank and its hunger-relief programs across Southwest Florida.

Now in its fourth year, Drive Out Hunger has expanded to a two-day event.

Schedule

Sunday, Oct. 25

  • 11:30 a.m. – Brunch and silent auction

Monday, Oct. 26

  • 11:30 a.m. – Golf tournament registration
  • 1 p.m. – Shotgun start
  • 5 p.m. – Cocktails
  • 6:15 p.m. – Dinner and awards ceremony

Brunch registration is $40 per person. Golf registration is $150 per golfer or $500 per foursome and includes 18 holes of golf, cocktails, dinner and the awards program. Dinner-only registration is $75 per person.

In 2025, the Drive Out Hunger Charity Golf Tournament attracted 116 golfers and raised $14,596 for hunger relief through Harry Chapin Food Bank. The nonprofit supports nearly 300,000 neighbors experiencing hunger each month across Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties.
