For more than 40 years, Harry Chapin Food Bank has been feeding children, families, and seniors across Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee counties. We partner with over 175 local agencies, run mobile pantries, in-school pantries, and senior feeding programs, and deliver millions of pounds of food each year—including fresh produce grown right here in Florida.
This back-to-school season, we are working hard to ensure every child has the nutritious meals they need to start the year ready to learn and succeed.
Recent changes at the federal level have reduced vital programs our neighbors depend on:

SNAP cuts are impacting over 40,000 people in Southwest Florida each month.

TEFAP reductions mean fewer pantry staples and fresh produce for our food bank and 175 partner agencies.

LFPA funding has been eliminated, ending support for locally grown fruits and vegetables that fed thousands.
