Night of music starring former members of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire 1500 900 Harry Chapin Food Bank

Tickets are now available for The Players, formerly of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire, at the Caloosa Sound Amphitheater

Harry Chapin Food Bank, the largest hunger relief organization serving Southwest Florida, is thrilled to announce it has been selected as a beneficiary of The Players concert on Feb. 9 at the Caloosa Sound Amphitheater. This unforgettable night of music starring former members of Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets range from $35 to $85. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Harry Chapin Food Bank.

“We are elated and honored to joint his amazing night of music and to shine a light on our mission ’rock out’ hunger in Southwest Florida,” said Stuart Haniff, the chief development officer at Harry Chapin Food Bank. “Events like this are an ideal setting to continue to raise awareness and generate interest around the impact food insecurity has on families living in our community.”

The concert is presented by The City of Fort Myers and SeaSide Music Management.

Food insecurity, defined as the lack of consistent access to enough food for an active, healthy lifestyle, is a foremost concern in Southwest Florida. Feeding America estimates more than 135,250 people are impacted throughout Lee, Collier, Charlottee, Glades and Hendry counties.

Now in its 40th year, Harry Chapin Food Bank feeds more than 250,000 people each month through an array of food distribution programs.

The Players are comprised of Grammy winners Bill Champlin, Keith Howland, Jeff Coffey and Gorden Campbell. Champlin, Howland and Coffey were all formerly members of Chicago, while Campbell performed with Earth, Wind & Fire.
