September is Hunger Action Month — a time to come together and take a stand against hunger in Southwest Florida.

Every day, thousands of our neighbors face tough choices: whether to pay rent, keep the lights on, or put food on the table. At Harry Chapin Food Bank, we believe no one should have to make that choice.
This September, we’re joining food banks across the country to raise awareness and inspire action. Hunger Action Month is our opportunity as individuals and as a community to take meaningful steps toward ensuring every neighbor has the food they need.
-
1 in 8 people in Southwest Florida is food insecure.
More than 30 million pounds of food were distributed by Harry Chapin Food Bank last year.
-
With the help of more than 175 agency partners, we’re reaching families, seniors, and children in every county we serve.
When we take action together, we can turn compassion into meals and hunger into hope.
