The Harry Chapin Food Bank feeds 28,000 people per week in Southwest Florida. We are seeking more volunteers to help us in our mission to lead our community in the fight to end hunger.
Volunteer duties can include sorting and packing donations of food at our Fort Myers and Collier County distribution centers, distributing food at mobile pantries, or collecting donations at food drives.
You can volunteer on your own, as a group with a community organization, club, church or school, or with your employer as a group. Some companies match volunteer hours. When you give your time to help our community through volunteering at the food bank, you will get something amazing in return: the feeling that you are personally helping put food into the hands of people who need it.
- Our Fort Myers Distribution Center is at 3760 Fowler Street, Fort Myers
- Our Collier County Distribution Center is 3940 Prospect Ave., #101 Naples
