On Monday, WINK News reached its goal of raising $400,000 that will go toward a million meals distributed in the community for those who need it.

Harry Chapin Food Bank does its part to feed 250,000 people every month. But, they don’t do it alone.

“I never once thought I would be in that position, never once,” Weaver said.

“When a child goes hungry, the parents are hungry, and the whole family is hungry,” said Monica Correa, programs outreach manager at Harry Chapin Food Bank.
